This Can't Be Good For Tourism
Do we really need another predator in the ocean to make our lives miserable? Luckily, we haven't seen these on the Outer Banks. Yet.

Can You Beat This?
If I learn to play drums will I have as much fun as this guy? Besides that, he's sharing the experience with his dad (Mighty Max Weinberg, drummer for The E Street Band) who relieves him at the end.
Ladles
Did you know there used to be an Arby's on the bypass in Kill Devil Hills? They made a pretty good Reuben sandwich. When it shut down it was replaced by Ladles Soups. I was very skeptical a business could make money from a hot-weather crowd buying a cold-weather meal. I can admit to only visiting in the off-season when temperatures were cool but I can tell you the soup and sandwiches were excellent. It's unfortunate it has to go, but maybe it was inevitable.
Cumberland! Not Quite Pennsylvania. Not Quite West Virginia.
Just way the hell out there. If I ever need to enter witness protection I know where to go.
Worst Job or Worst Employer?
If you ever felt like just another number at your job and nobody would miss you if you were gone, this woman has you beat. If you actually feel this way it may be time to quit and relocate. But not to Cumberland. That's where people go to disappear.
Healthy Snacks
If you get a chance to hear about the
LARABAR story, it's a good one. Her bars are made with just a few ingredients. Several of them are Whole30 compliant. Peanut Butter Cookie is my new favorite (slide over Lemon Bar).
