Ready For An OBX Weekend, 1/13/23

Aloha Poke and Grill

Next door to the Kitty Hawk Harris Teeter is a fairly new eatery specializing in poke bowls. Probably a lot more healthy than a fast-food meal deal, they have both customized bowls and specialty bowls. Aloha has indoor seating, but is designed more around carry-out. Highly recommend.

"Little" Washington, NC

If you've been following me for a while you may know I have an affinity for Washington, NC. Last weekend Bonnie and I were there for a basketball game which became the perfect alibi for a new lunch adventure. We found The Mulberry House and the place is very cool. Old brick facade, updated interior, large bar, and a great menu. In addition, they have a rooftop where you can hang out and watch the sun set over the Pamlico River when the weather is nice.

Kitty Hawk Police Station

It's probably a good thing the new police station will be closer to the highway and not on the west side of Kitty Hawk. The funny part is that it will only be .4 miles from the Southern Shores police department.
