We're Number1!
This probably applies more to the central part of the state, but it's good to see the state government working hard to grow our economy. I'm not too surprised because I've been hearing about big growth in the tech industry in and around the Research Triangle.
Things To Do
Jennette's Pier has become the "go-to" location for competitions (surf, skim, body board). This weekend should be a good time for the OBX Skim Jam.
Victory!
In case anyone cares, Saturday was my first return to the waves on a SUP with my new hip. Everything went great and it was nice to get in/on the ocean again. Normally, the surf in Southern Shores is bleak but the traffic stifled my urge to search for something better. I found something doable at the Dolphin Run beach access which was perfect for getting back on the horse.
Ice Cream!
I don't need a special day to want ice cream, but maybe this will motivate me to go on a hunt for free product.

Saturday 82, Scattered t-storms early, PC late, Precip. 40%, Winds S 5 in A.M., S 10-15 in P.M.
