Cats
We have a cat that spends most of its days outdoors and at night we bring it inside. Occasionally, before we go to bed, she doesn't come when we call. I will give her a few tries, but after a while I give up and hit the hay as long as the weather isn't crazy. She has survived outdoors before and I'm sure she can do it again. However, should you leave her out all night it is guaranteed she will lecture you in the morning, ad nauseum. Hey! "Meow!" You left me outside last night. "Meow,Meow!" Don't you know bettter? "Meow,Meow,Meow!". I think you're a really bad parent. "Meow,Meow,Meow,Meow!" This will continue until she gets restless and wants to go back outside, at which point I'm happy to oblige.

I was watching a streaming show I can't remember the name of when this song came on and propelled me in to flashback mode. It sounded familiar but I couldn't remember it. I quickly pulled out my phone and Googled it which sent me down a worm-hole of 80's songs I hadn't heard in years. Many of them pure gold. Squeeze had more mainstream hits, but Goodbye Girl was like a B-side song that never got the love I felt it deserved.

What I’m Not Drinking
Two Pitchers Radler.
I saw this beer at the local Fresh Market and thought to myself, "Grapefruit and Blood Orange? This sounds like a great summer beverage!" If I weren't so damn cheap I would have poured the entire six pack down the sink. Overwhelmingly sweet with fruitiness. Not my cup of tea.

Sun Protection
One of my favorite shirts when I need to be in the sun and it's oppressively hot is the Columbia Terminal Deflector long sleeve shirt. Excellent protection from the sun while still keeping me extremely cool. Be advised, the Cool Grey color looks like a shimmery, space-age shirt. I recommend a color other than grey.
