Yesterday was the grand opening of the Wawa in Kill Devil Hills and you would have thought people showed up to greet the first astronauts to land on Mars. Wawa is a gas station, right? With food? I should probably commend their marketing people for building the brand and creating a big event, but I don't get it.
TikTok on The Tim Ferriss Show
I don’t use TikTok because I hate feeling like I need the next, new social media app. I’ll let everyone else be the lab rat and if, over time, the app proves to be useful, then maybe I’ll use it (like Venmo). TikTok, on the other hand, comes with an interesting back story. If you’re like me and you've always wanted to hear the truth about TikTok, you'll appreciate this episode of The Tim Ferriss Show. His guest, Matt Pottinger, beautifully de-constructs how TikTok is not being honest and forthright with the American people. Pottinger is extremely knowledgeable and qualified to discuss international politics and the entire episode is excellent.
